Felix Ejeckam, Ph.D., Co-Founder & CEO
Prior to co-founding Group4 in 2003, Felix spent ten years in the management consultancy and photonics industries where he co-founded and led a VC-backed company. He is an expert in photonics, and materials science. He earned degrees in electrical/computer engineering from Rice, a master's and doctorate in electrical engineering (photonics & materials science) from Cornell.

Daniel Francis, Ph.D., Co-Founder & Chief Technical Officer
Prior to joining Group4 in 2004, Dan spent ten years co-founding two VC-backed companies that were acquired in the photonics industries. He is an expert in photonics, and materials science. He earned an undergraduate degree in physics from Oberlin, a doctorate in applied physics (photonics) from Stanford, and a post-doctoral appointment at Berkeley.

John Wasserbauer, Ph.D., Vice President, Technology
Prior to joining Group4 in 2005, John spent fifteen years helping to build VC-backed companies in the photonics, and electronics industries. He is an expert in photonics, materials, and electronics. He earned degrees in materials science and electrical engineering from Cornell, and Ecole Centrale de Lyon, and a doctorate in electrical engineering from UC Santa Barbara.

Dubravko Babic, Ph.D., Vice President, Technology
Prior to joining Group4 in 2004, Dubravko spent twenty years in the electronics, photonics, materials science, and packaging industries working for renowned organizations, and building small companies. He is an expert in electronics, photonics, and materials. He earned degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Zagreb, and a master's and doctorate in electrical engineering from UC Santa Barbara.

Firooz Faili, Ph.D., Vice President, Technology
Prior to joining Group4 in 2005, Firooz spent twenty years helping to build various small and large companies in the semiconductor industry. He is an expert in materials science, electronics, and semiconductor manufacturing equipment. He earned degrees in chemical engineering from the Abadan Institute of Technology and San Jose State University, and a doctorate degree in chemical engineering from USC.

Padma Narayanan, CPA, Accounting Manager
Prior to joining Group4 in 2004, Narayanan spent ten years playing a lead role in various corporate accounting and finance functions including fixed-asset and manufacturing, accounting, and treasury. Her experience spanned one-man proprietorships to Fortune-500 companies to non-profit organizations. She holds a bachelor's degree in commerce from the University of Madras. In 1993, she passed the CPA exam in the state of California.
