We’re Growing Up!
Dear Customers and Development Partners,
Happy New Year everyone.
It has now been about 6-years since we registered Group4 Labs, LLC in Menlo Park, CA. Having subsisted on the same staff of 6 close friends since inception, we now stand at 10 guys and gals; we’ll add a few more in the weeks and months to come. We continue to operate a cash-flow positive operation, and have continued to nearly double revenues every year. Our principal customers/development-partners now include various agencies of the U.S. Department of Defense including the MDA, Wright Patterson Air Force Research Labs, and the Navy. Our backers now include two NASA groups at JPL and GSFC. Competitive Phase I and II SBIRs/STTRs awarded to the company to-date now number more than 10. Though we the employees continue to own the whole company that will probably change in the months to come as we add the heft of equity investment from very strong strategic partners.
Before the end of January 2009, Group4 Labs, LLC will become Group4 Labs, Inc. as the company completes its conversion from a partnership to a C-corp. Members of the partnership shall become full employees of a Delaware Corporation with several operations across the Bay Area in California.
For those of you who have supported us from the start, we sincerely thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
